About
CaiKaye was born in the Philippines to a Filipino mother and Nigerian father. She spent part of her childhood in Nigeria — formative years that planted the rhythms deep — before returning to the Philippines, where she was raised and schooled. Now based in New York, her sound carries all three worlds: Filipino soul, Nigerian heritage, and the international energy of New York. Midnight Groove, produced by RareStarr, is her debut.

Four Chapters
Manila
The beginning.
Born in the Philippines to a Filipino mother and Nigerian father. From the start, her world was a conversation between two cultures — two sets of rhythms learning to coexist in one small body.
Lagos
The beat in the blood.
A few years of childhood in Nigeria planted something deep — percussive, communal, alive. The Afrobeat and ambient warmth of Lagos became part of her musical DNA long before she had words for it.
The Philippines
Where the voice found shape.
She returned to the Philippines, where she was raised and schooled. Filipino soul, church harmonies, and the lush Pacific soundscape shaped her ear for melody and her instinct for storytelling.
New York
The stage.
Now based in New York, her sound carries all three worlds at once. The city's relentless energy gave her debut album its urgency — Midnight Groove is her arrival.
